Mareeba State School is benefiting from the Palaszczuk Government’s continued investment in schools.
Member for Cook Cynthia Lui said the Palaszczuk Government was committed to delivering world-class educational facilities for all Queensland students.
“I am thrilled that the $5,750,000 Prep building at Mareeba State School has reached practical completion on the 10th October 2018.”
“The project has delivered a two-storey Prep building, including 6 classrooms and teacher prep rooms, as well as a lift and ramp, and a soft-fall play area for the students to enjoy.”
“This is a great addition to the school, and I’m sure the Prep teachers and students will love making it their own.”
“I know just how important these new facilities are for the school, and I can’t wait to see the students enjoying their new space.”
We’re delivering an overall infrastructure investment program across the state valued at more than $923 million in 2018-19.
